BackArid Region Campus Bikaner organized Training programme at Rawach Village on 4th March under Tribal Sub Plan of Net Work Project on Sheep Improvement



 One day training programme on “Enhancing the income of tribal farmers through Scientific Sheep and goat farming” under TSP was organized on 04th March, 2022 at Rawach Village of Gogunda block, Udaipur to aware the tribal farmers about integrated sheep and goat farming to improve livelihood and income. A total of fifty interested tribal farmers from different villages of Gogunda area attended the training programme. The programme was coordinated by Drs. H K Narula (Principal Scientist & Head), Ashok Kumar, Scientist & Nodal Officer, TSP and assisted by Shri Madan Lal, TO, ICAR-CSWRI, ARC Bikaner.  The programme was chaired by Dr H K Narula, Head ICAR-CSWRI, ARC Bikaner. DR P C Bhatnagar, Incharge KVK Badgaon also attended the programme and interacted with the tribal farmers to increase their livelihood.                Dr Narula addressed the gathering and encouraged the tribal farmers to adopt integrated sheep, goat and rabbit farming for increasing the income. Dr Ashok Kumar delivered lecture on health management of the flock. Dr Nirmal Kumar, Veterinary Officer talked about the schemes of state government for tribal farmers. In the last part of the programme, all tribal farmers were benefitted with materials (Iron sheets, Iron pipe and Chain-link fencing) for sheep shed to 50 farmers.  Tribal farmers were also benefitted with water bottle, torch, bag and umbrella.
