  • LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI OUTSTANDING YOUNG SCIENTIST AWARD 2012

    DR. V. SEJIAN received LalBahadurShastri Outstanding Young Scientist Award of ICAR for the year 2012. An individual award of one lakh in cash and a challenge project for three years with budgetary provision of ten lakh per year + five lakh for foreign training (3 months).

  • राजभाषा पुरस्कार

    नगर राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति (केन्द्रीय कार्यालय), जयपुर द्वारा केन्द्रीय भेड़ एवं ऊन अनुसंधान संस्थान, अविकानगर को वर्ष 2011-2012 के लिए राजभाषा में सर्वाधिक कार्य के लिए “क“ वर्ग में पुरस्कृत किया गया। यह पुरस्कार संयोजक कार्यालय प्रधान महालेखाकर (लेखा व हक.), राजस्थान द्वारा दिनांक 31.08.2012 को नगर राजभाषा कार्यान्वयन समिति (केन्द्रीय कार्यालय), जयपुर की 63वीं अर्द्ध वार्षिक बैठक के दौरान आयोजित भव्य समारोह में प्रधान महालेखाकार (लेखा एवं हक.) राजस्थान एवं अध्यक्ष नराकास के द्वारा प्रदान किया गया। संस्थान की ओर से यह पुरस्कार संस्थान के निदेशक डाॅ. एस.एम.के. नकवी एवं सहायक निदेशक (राजभाषा) श्री मुरारीलाल गुप्ता ने प्राप्त किया।

  • S.M.K.Naqvi, Principal Scietist and Head, Division of Physiology and Biochemistry was conferred with fellowship by National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) for his outstanding contribution in small ruminant research.

  • C.P. Swarnkar, Scientist (SG), Veterinary Parasitology, Division of Animal Health was conferred with SM Ismail Oration Award – 2011 by Indian Association for Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (IAAVP) in recognition of contribution/achievements in the field of veterinary helminthology. The award was presented on the occasion of XXII National Congress of Indian Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, DUVASU, Mathura, UP, 15-17, March, 2012.

  • S.M.K. Naqvi, Principal Scientist and Head, Division of Physiology and Biochemistry was conferred with SAPI fellowship award by Society of Animal Physiologist of India on the occasion of the International Conference on Physiological Capacity Building in Livestock under Changing Climate Scenario, Izatnagar, November 11-13, 2010, for his outstanding contribution in small ruminant physiology.

  • ICAR Award for Team Research for the Outstanding Research Contribution in Small Ruminant Production for the Biennium 1997-98 to Drs S.M.K. Naqvi, Anil Joshi, Rajeev Gulyani, G.K. Das and J.P. Mittal.

  • ICAR Award for Team Research for the Outstanding Research Contribution in Genetic Improvement of Sheep for the Biennium 2003-04 to Drs V. K. Singh, A. L. Arora, A. K. Mishra, D. Singh, S. M. K. Naqvi, Anil Joshi, C. P. Swarnkar and Satish Kumar.

  • Dr Rajendra Prasad Puruskar for Technical Books in Hindi in the Field of Agriculture and Allied Sciences for the year 2005-06 for their book on Applied Animal Husbandry (Cattle, Buffaloes, Sheep, Goats, Pig, Horse and Camel) to Drs S.C. Dubey, A.K. Shinde and B. N. Singh.

  • Jawaharlal Nehru Award for Post Graduate Agriculture Research, 2007 for outstanding research in the field of Animal Production and Veterinary Science for his Ph.D thesis work on development of shelf stable buffalo meat sausage by application of hurdle technology at Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai to Dr S. Sureshkumar

  • Lal Bahadur Shastri Young Scientist Award of Indian Council of Agricultural Research for the biennium 2007-08 to Dr. Suresh A. for his research work on production and utilization of wool and woolens in India
