BackConducting Three day training programme under TSP

A three day training programme was organized at ICAR NTRS Garsa from 19-03-2017 to 21-03-2017 under TSP project. 19 participants from Lahaul and Spiti district were educated about all aspects of sheep production including breeding, feeding, health care, marketing, product processing etc. Trainees also visited KVK Bajaura during the training. Queries of the participants regarding sheep farming was clarified by the experts. Besides experts/ scientists of the station, experts from KVK Bajaura, department of Animal Husbandry and ATMA also enriched the farmers with their knowledge and experience. Participants showed interest to undergo training on meat product processing at ICAR-CSWRI Avikanagar, if possible. Certificates and mineral mixture were distributed to the participants at the end of the training. Project Director ATMA was chief guest in the valedictory function and Deputy Director Animal Husbandry was the guest of honour. The guests appreciated the effort of linkage of station with their respective organizations.
