BackOrientation programme of Veterinary Officers of Odisha from 1 to 3 March 2013 at CSWRI, Avikanagar
A team of 20 Veterinary Officers from Odisha visit to CSWRI, Avikanagar under exposure cum orientation programme from 1 to 3 March 2013. The programme was sponsored by Veterinary Officers Training Institute, Bhubaneswar. The three day programme included orientation lectures on breeding, nutrition, health care, reproduction, physiology, biotechnology, economics and transfer of technology related to sheep and goat, wool processing, fodder production, rabbit production and visit to labs and livestock farms. The group also visited the adopted villages and interacted with the farmers. Participants found the programme highly useful to them and some of them also expressed interest in training on other aspects of sheep production.
